TidyCalm ("TidyCalm," "we," "us") makes an iPhone app that turns a photo of a room into a short list of tidying tasks. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain.

Information we collect

Photos you take or choose

When you ask TidyCalm to analyze a room, the photo you take or select is sent to our servers and to our AI processing provider so the app can generate a task list. Photos are used only to produce your tasks and to show your before/after comparison. We do not sell your photos or use them for advertising.

Account information

We use Sign in with Apple for accounts. Depending on what you choose to share, we receive a name and an email address (which may be Apple's private relay address) and an identifier that lets us recognize your account. We do not receive your Apple ID password.

App content and usage

Your task lists, completion history, timer activity, and app settings are stored on your device. Some account and entitlement information (for example, whether you have an active subscription) is stored on our servers so the app works across launches.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple, but we do not receive or store your full payment details.

How we use information

To analyze your room photo and generate, display, and improve your task lists.
To keep you signed in and provide features tied to your account.
To determine your access to free and subscription features.
To respond to support requests and fix problems.

AI processing and third parties

To turn a photo into tasks, TidyCalm sends the image to a third-party AI provider that performs the analysis on our behalf. We share with third parties only what is needed to provide the service, including:

Our AI processing provider — receives your photo to generate the task list.
Apple — for Sign in with Apple and for subscription billing through the App Store.
Our hosting provider — runs the servers that power the app.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Task lists, history, and settings remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Photos are processed to create your tasks and are not used for any other purpose. Account and subscription records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal and operational requirements.

Your choices

You can delete individual rooms and history within the app.
You can remove the app to clear data stored on your device.
You can request deletion of your account and associated server-side data by emailing us (see below).
You manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.

Children

TidyCalm is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
